Great Cummins is a small family-run organic farm in the glorious rolling hills of mid-Devon. About 8 miles west of Exeter it comprises about 40 acres of permanent pasture, some 12 acres of woodland - hardwoods like oak and ash, most of which we planted when we came here some 10 years ago, an acre of (mainly cider) apple trees and an acre of land for growing vegetables including three polytunnels and a greenhouse for propagation. The land is between 300 and 500 feet above sea level and the soil a clay loam
