Great Cummins
is a charming 16th century thatched farmhouse offering high
quality B&B accommodation. Situated just outside Tedburn St Mary, it is a
convenient base for visiting Exeter and its surrounds and for touring
Devon and, especially, Dartmoor. It is also only 5 minutes off the A30
and is very convenient for travellers looking to break their journey to
and from Cornwall.
It is set in
the rolling hills of mid-Devon with fine views across the fields.
Great Cummins
is a working farm so, depending upon the time of the year visitors can
observe (and even help with!) lambing and feeding the lambs, collecting
eggs and seeing any other animals we might have – variously pigs, geese
and ducklings. Guests are very welcome to walk around the farm – through
the meadows and the woodlands – stout shoes or wellies are advisable!
